With Learn & Play, we help K-12 students learn S.T.E.A.M subjects, while helping teachers effortlessly achieve their learning objectives. We come to your class and teach a lesson on the S.T.E.A.M topic of your choice followed by an interactive learning lab using video games, robotics, and more depending on the subject.

Each Learn & Play lab session includes:

  • A 30 min lesson on the S.T.E.A.M. topic of your choice taught by our staff. 

  • All required lab equipment.

  • 90 minute student-centered interactive lab session for up to 25 students

  • Extended learning activity (i.e. homework/activity sheets)

    • After you book your Learn & Play session(s) the Game Room Club staff delivers the full experience to your school, setting up all required equipment and teaching both the short introductory lesson and the interactive learning lab from start to finish. 

  3. What grade level is Learn & Play suitable for?

    • Learn & Play is adaptable for various grade levels, with customizable lesson plans designed for elementary, middle, high school, and even college students.

  4. Can Learn & Play align with academic standards?

    • Yes, Learn & Play lesson plans can be tailored to align with academic standards, ensuring that educational objectives are met while providing an enjoyable learning experience.

  5. What subjects does Learn & Play cover?

    • Learn & Play is designed to work primarily with the S.T.E.A.M subjects, making it suitable for various curriculum needs.

  6. Is Learn & Play teacher-friendly?

    • Absolutely! Learn & Play provides teachers with ready-to-use post lesson activities, clear objectives, and flexible activities, saving valuable preparation time and promoting a positive classroom experience.

  7. Do I need to leave while Game Room Club Staff teaches?

    • Absolutely not. We require a teacher or other designated school staff person to be with our Game Room Club staff whenever students are present.

  8. Does my school need to provide materials for Learn & Play activities?

    • Learn & Play activities are designed to be flexible and we provide all required major materials. Depending on the lesson, students may need their school provided devices but this will be discussed with you well in advance of our arrival.

  9. Can I pick my own topics?

    • That depends on which of our plans you pick. If you select a plan that has custom topic selection just let us know what custom S.T.E.A.M topic you need and provide your learning objectives. From there we'll develop a custom Learn & Play lesson plan for it!
